About these worksheets
Picture sudoku builds the same logic as number sudoku without any counting or reading, so even preschoolers can try it. Each puzzle has exactly one answer (we check every one), and the dinosaurs come in clearly different colours. Start with a 4x4 with only a few empty squares, then move up to 6x6, where the thick lines mark boxes of six.
All worksheets are free for home and classroom use, print on one Letter or A4 page and come with an answer key. Every set is generated from the same word and number banks as our games, so "Make a new one" gives you unlimited practice.
Tips for parents & teachers
- Look for a row, column or box with only one empty square: that one is always the easiest.
- Cut the pieces out first and let little ones try them in the squares before gluing.
- Stuck? Pick one empty square and ask "which dinosaurs can't go here?"
